Producer George Lucas' favorite quote (paraphrase) goes "I don't use a story to show off my special effects, I tell a story and use special effects to help tell it better." Here, Willow's Sorsha (played by Joanne Whalley) is modeling a fine example of said 'special effects'. Ms. Whalley was at first against the idea, but more recently she seems especially attached to the idea, despite the fact that the scene was never made it to production. Perhaps most strangely of all, she models the 'special effects' even now, two years after the movie has been released.

For ~lessthanhuman's Sorsha to Pig contest. How this for an original concept, ey? I wanted to use all my material from all things used in the movie, but not from scenes from the movie itself. The base screenshot was taken from Joanne Whalley's interview from the 1988 The Making of Willow featurette. All the piggish parts are also from the featurette, from pig masks layed out on a table and various actors standing around. So everything was part of the movie, but not in the movie. Not submitted yet, as I want to get an anatomy opinion from another artist, ~digitalcirce, who is pretty much the authority when it comes to those of the porcine persuasion. Update, resubmitted, but will probably do so again, more inputs lead to more changes :D Update, yup, more changes; slight changes in position and shadowing on hands, tiny tiny tusks added ('cause I found out, even the females have 'em).

Stock is a screenshot from the movie Willow (1988)

:icondigitalcirce:Thanx to ~digitalcirce for the opinions and facts I incorporated in the final piece.
